Replacement Process:

TODIMART will replace any parts deemed defective or damaged (including damage caused during shipping), but not damage caused by user error.

1.Claims

All warranty claims must be submitted with the consent of TODIMART SCOOTER. Any warranty claim must include proof of purchase and photos or videos of the damaged product. Before filing a warranty claim, we recommend contacting us via the website, email, or WhatsApp, as your issue may be easily resolved. Valid warranty claims will be processed through TODIMART SCOOTER within two years of the initial purchase.

Note: TODIMART SCOOTER will not replace any parts without receiving photos or videos of the damaged product. Customers need to provide evidence to us via the website, email, or WhatsApp.

2. Claims for Damage or Errors During Shipping

In rare cases, the goods you receive may be damaged in transit or we may have shipped the wrong item. If damage occurs during shipping, please contact us with photos or video evidence. If you ordered accessories and received a package that does not contain the accessories you requested, you also need to contact us first, as you may have ordered the wrong item. We will cover the costs of our shipping errors and any damage (unusable) or loss of accessories within the package during transit. We do not cover costs if the customer orders the wrong item.

Note: We will not accept claims for damage during shipping older than 7 days from the date of receipt of the product.

Note: The specific warranty for TODIMART scooters purchased from TODIMART SCOOTER retailers is governed by the laws of the state or country where the purchase was made, and applies only to scooters purchased from authorized Varla retailers or directly from Varla dealers.

Lithium Battery Safety, Warranty, and Lifespan Statement

This statement is based on European Product Liability Law, relevant industry standards for lithium-ion batteries, and our company's after-sales policy. This statement clarifies the warranty period and normal lifespan of the lithium batteries equipped in our electric scooters and emphasizes the fire risk that battery aging may cause. All users must carefully read and comply with the following terms.

1. Official Battery Warranty

All electric scooters sold in this store are CE certified in Europe, and the batteries are also CE certified. Our electric scooter lithium batteries are covered by a 12-month limited warranty (calculated from the date of product purchase and delivery confirmation).

During the warranty period, if the battery fails solely due to a manufacturing defect (excluding improper use, maintenance, or external damage), we will provide free repair or replacement services according to the warranty policy.

After the warranty period, the free warranty service will automatically terminate. We offer paid battery testing, repair, or replacement services upon request. Please consult our official customer service for specific service terms.

2. Normal Lifespan of Lithium Batteries

Based on general technical standards in the lithium-ion battery industry, combined with the characteristics of our battery cells and actual usage test data, the normal design lifespan of scooter lithium batteries is approximately 2-3 years.

This lifespan is based on standard use and maintenance: moderate daily riding, charging only with the original charger, storage in a dry environment between 0°C and 25°C, and no physical damage or modification to the battery.

Improper use or maintenance will significantly shorten the battery's lifespan, reducing it to only 1-2 years. The actual aging rate of the battery is significantly affected by individual usage habits and environmental factors. Frequent high-power riding, charging with non-original chargers, long-term storage in extreme high/low temperature environments, water ingress, impacts, or unauthorized modifications will all accelerate battery aging, resulting in an actual lifespan of less than 3 years.

3. Warning of Serious Fire Risk from Old Batteries

Lithium batteries are consumable components. Once a battery exceeds its normal lifespan or shows obvious signs of aging, it poses an extremely high risk of spontaneous combustion and fire, with the risk increasing exponentially with the degree of aging.

The core safety hazard of aging batteries stems from the decline in the performance of the internal cells: reduced activity of the positive and negative electrode materials, aging and damage to the separator, and the decomposition of the electrolyte producing flammable and explosive gases. Furthermore, malfunctioning protection circuits prevent effective control of overcharging, over-discharging, and short circuits. Even normal charging, low-speed driving, or static storage can trigger thermal runaway in the cells, leading to battery fire or spontaneous combustion, causing personal injury and property damage.

4. Mandatory Recommendations for Aging Batteries

To ensure your safety and property, we strongly recommend that you immediately stop using the battery and contact a qualified professional for inspection and replacement if it has been used for 3 years or shows any of the following signs of aging (even if the battery still powers the battery):

Significantly reduced battery life (50% or more less than in brand new condition);

Battery casing swelling, deformation, cracking, or leakage;

Abnormal overheating during charging (temperature significantly higher than normal), or a sudden increase/decrease in charging speed;

Sudden power outage or unstable power during riding (excluding malfunctions of other scooter components);

Battery cannot be charged, or loses power immediately after being left idle for a period of time.

5. Legal Liability Statement

We assume no product liability, tort liability, or damage liability for any fire, spontaneous combustion, property damage, or personal injury caused by: using the battery beyond its normal lifespan; improper use/maintenance (including unauthorized modifications, use of non-original parts, storage in harsh environments, etc.); or failure to replace aging batteries in a timely manner. Users shall bear all legal liabilities and losses arising therefrom. For matters not covered in this statement, applicable European laws and regulations shall prevail. We reserve the right to the final interpretation of this statement and will adjust it in a timely manner in accordance with updates to laws and industry standards.

Friendly Reminder

Safe use of lithium batteries is central to ensuring riding safety. Even if the battery is still usable, do not ignore the risk of aging. Timely replacement of aging batteries is a basic responsibility for your own safety and the safety of others.

Limited Warranty Terms:

This limited warranty does not imply or guarantee that the scooter will not damage or will remain permanently durable. It means that the scooter is covered under this limited warranty. This limited warranty will be void if the scooter suffers abuse, negligence, improper repair, improper maintenance, modification, alteration, accident, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, including fatigue damage, is not covered under warranty. Fatigue damage is a symptom of frame wear during normal use. This is a type of normal wear and tear, and the owner is responsible for inspecting their scooter. Damage caused by improper assembly or maintenance, or by installing parts and accessories incompatible with TODIMART scooters, is not covered under warranty.

All labor costs for warranty service are the responsibility of the scooter owner. If warranty claim processing requires mailing, all shipping costs are the responsibility of the scooter owner. During this limited warranty period, TODIMART will repair any defective frame or component, or, at our option, replace any defective frame or component with the same or closest available model or component at the time.

This is the sole remedy under this warranty. Any other applicable remedies and damages are excluded, including, but not limited to, incidental damages, consequential damages, or punitive damages. This is TODIMART's sole warranty against its frame and components, and there are no warranties beyond the scope of this warranty. Any implied warranties under law, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are excluded.

This limited warranty grants the consumer certain legal rights. Consumers may also have other legal rights, which vary by state or country. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If a court of competent jurisdiction determines that any provision of this Limited Warranty is inapplicable, such determination shall not affect any other provisions of this Limited Warranty, and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Electric Scooter-Specific Warranty Terms

This warranty applies to any critical component of the electric scooter found to be defective, provided the product has been used in a standard and controlled manner and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual. Critical components include the scooter frame, motor, battery, display, and controller.

Corrosion of electrical components is not covered under warranty. You should dry the contacts of the battery and other electrical components to prevent corrosion and oxidation. If necessary, use an electrical contact cleaner to keep the connections clean. In extreme weather conditions (e.g., areas where roads are salted in winter), you may apply battery terminal grease as a precaution.
